1. Overview
DexRooms ("we", "our", "us") provides a voice chat platform for Solana token traders, accessible via the website at dexrooms.io and the DexRooms Chrome browser extension. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Authentication data
When you sign in with a Solana wallet or Google account, we store a user identifier and a signed JSON Web Token (JWT) locally in your browser. This is used solely to authenticate you with the DexRooms API. No passwords are stored.
2.2 Profile data
You may optionally set a display name and avatar. This data is stored on our servers and displayed publicly to other users in voice rooms.
2.3 Voice data
Voice audio transmitted during a session is routed through LiveKit (our WebRTC media server) in real-time. Audio is not recorded or stored. It exists only for the duration of the active voice session.
2.4 Technical data
We may log basic request metadata (IP address, timestamps) on our API servers for security and abuse prevention. This data is not shared with third parties and is deleted after 30 days.
2.5 Chrome Extension
The DexRooms Chrome extension reads the URL of the active tab on supported trading platforms (DexScreener, Axiom, GMGN, Padre) solely to identify the token contract address and connect you to the corresponding voice room. We do not collect, store, or transmit your browsing history.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate your identity and maintain your session
- To display your name and avatar in voice rooms
- To route voice audio to other participants in the same room
- To detect abuse and protect the platform
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or third parties. We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to the DexRooms service.
4. Data Storage & Security
Authentication tokens are stored in your browser's local storage. Profile data is stored on servers hosted in the European Union (Hetzner). We use HTTPS/TLS for all communications. You can delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Chrome Extension — Permissions
tabs
Used to read the URL of the currently active tab on supported trading platforms, solely to identify the token contract address and connect the voice room. No browsing history is collected.
storage
Used to persist your authentication session and preferences locally in your browser. No data is synced externally beyond the DexRooms API.
offscreen
Required to maintain an active WebRTC (LiveKit) voice connection in the background via an offscreen document, since Chrome service workers do not support WebRTC audio directly.
webNavigation
Used to detect URL changes within supported single-page trading applications so the extension can automatically switch the voice room when you navigate to a different token page.
Host permissions
Access is limited to axiom.trade, gmgn.ai, trade.padre.gg, dexscreener.com (to inject the UI overlay), and api.dexrooms.io / dexrooms.io (for authentication and voice room management). No data from these sites is read beyond the current page URL.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@dexrooms.io. Requests will be processed within 30 days.
8. Children
DexRooms is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of DexRooms after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
